BIRTH STORY FOR
ABBY NICOLE
DOB: June 11, 1998
On the morning of June 11th I woke up about 9am feeling like something was going on.. My mother was here with me cause daddy was away for work. I did not say anything to my mother for about an hour thinking she would laugh at me and my first time mommy worries..lol About 10am I let her know that I was having contractions; but VERY mild ones. They kept coming kind of regular so my mother said we should start timing them... They were constant 3-8 minutes apart. I felt fine, but was concerned since they were coming so close together and had been for over 3 hours now. At 1pm I called the hospital to see what they would say and of course they said for me to just stay home...relax....and come in once the contractions got harder... Well, at 1:30 mom and I decided they weren't going to get stronger and we should just go. Got to hospital about 1:45 and the whole hospital staff laughed at me when I told them *I think I am in labor*...they all said *honey, if you were in labor, you would KNOW*... I fooled them cause when they got me on the table to see...I was already 9cm dilated and fully effaced!!! You were on your way!!! Dr. broke my water and contractions soon followed. I started pushing at about 2:30 and you were born at 3:32pm... :O)) The best day of my life.
